My husband and I are so grateful that we had the opportunity to see Darla this past summer when we were traveling back from Maine. She was as jovial and hospitable as ever and we enjoyed a wonderful time together and a delicious meal.

It was so special to see her again after so many years. Throughout my childhood, whenever the Marrans visited the D’Andreas or the D’Andreas visited the Marrans it was always such a special time.

I will always recall her lively spirit.

My parents, sisters, and I are thinking of and praying for your family.

To My Auntie Darla- Words alone cannot express how much I will miss having you in my life. So many wonderful memories I will always cherish. Your love for family was one that was something very special. I find comfort in the fact that you are coming "home", and will find eternal peace next to Uncle Don. I still carry in my wallet, the prayer/poem you gave me 10 years ago. It was from 1973 when Grandpa Marran died. Please know I will keep you in my heart until we all are together again....
All my love,

Your Nephew and "Second Son",

Victor
