To my beautiful first born child - with the soul of a poet, the smile of a sunny day, brave and fierce as a mother bear protecting her loved ones, soft and delicately fragile as an egg shell, with the voice of an angel and the wisdom of a Solomon.

We will meet again for that long overdue embrace - - - a loving hug and kiss.

I love you forever,

Your Mom

My deepest condolences to Family and Friends at the loss of Deb. I knew and worked with Deb for more than 15 years at UConn and always found her to be an outstanding member of the UConn community. She was helpful, passionate about our institution and extremely professional. She was a great colleague and friend - she will be missed.

Dear Peter ~

Words escape me at a time when I need them most. To say how sorry I am sounds rather trite, but my heart aches for you and the family that surrounds you.

Deborah was a 'tour de force' which is not an extravagant use of words. I saw it when we first met many years ago, and loved that part of her - she had a strength wrapped up in beauty and grace.

Deborah will be remembered as a dignified lady with a huge heart capable of so much love and warmth, and her mega watt smile is how I will keep her with me forever; a beautiful woman inside and out - I shall greatly miss her gentle soul.

With a very heavy heart,

Jo

I am so very sorry to hear of Deb's death. I worked with Deb as part of the community college transfer program to UCONN. It was always a delight to collaborate with Deb. She was smart, kind, thoughtful, diligent, and always ready to help students be successful. I have missed her since she retired. My deepest sympathy to Deb's family.

To Deb's family:
My sympathy to all of you on your loss. I worked with Deb in the UConn Admissions Office for many years. We shared the trials and joys of working with transfer students and building a computer system to aid with evaluations. Our part of the office worked so well together.

I have no words to express the absolute shock and sadness at hearing of the passing of Deb. Classy, kind, smart, loyal, loving, giving, compassionate are just a small amount of words to describe Deb. Peter, Alanna, and Tom, I am so, so very sorry for your loss. I loved her dearly, as a co-worker, but much more importantly, as a friend. May she rest in eternal peace, and I know for sure, she will be watching over you all.
