Thomas John Kielb, 79, of South Glastonbury, passed away on November 9, 2019. He was born in Hartford, a son of the late Walter J. and Katherine (Hysh) Kielb. He was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, was a Draftsman for Hartford Wire Works, and worked for Walmart for many years. He faithfully served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army Reserves. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Shemerluk) Kielb, two sons, Thomas Joseph Kielb and his fiancée Lauren A. Bruno of Glastonbury and Christopher Anthony Kielb and his partner Lyndsi D. Matthews of San Diego, CA, one sister Patricia C. Parsons of East Hartford, one sister in law Carol Shemerluk Pfahler of West Hartford, two adored grandchildren, Wyatt Joseph Kielb and Frank Joseph Kielb, both of Glastonbury and several nieces and nephews, among them his devoted nephew Mark William Pfahler. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two siblings Irene Adamcewicz and Anthony W. Kielb. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10AM at St. Augustine Church, Parish of St. Isadore & Maria, 55 Hopewell Rd., Glastonbury, CT 06073. There are no visiting hours. Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT 06033 has been entrusted with his arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067
