Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Resendez, on September 15, 2010. They had been together 1969.
Eloise earned her Master’s Degree from ASU. She was an elementary school teacher for over 20 years in Avondale.
Eloise is survived by her daughter Lori Gurrola, three granddaughters Angelita (August) Diamond, Jessica Estrada & Roseanna Penaloza, two siblings Mary Tellez & Armando Flores, 11 great grandchildren, a great great granddaughter and numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, a grandson Daniel Gurrola and seven siblings preceded her in death.
Family and friends are invited to a service to celebrate Eloise’s life on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Along with Joe she will be laid to rest in Resthaven Park Cemetery.
