Francis (Frank) James Soreghan, aged 94, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2020 at his home in Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his beloved wife Eileen, his four children: Michael (Lynn), Brian, Janet (Eddie Dolendo) and Sheila (Dana Kageyama) and his eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Portland, Oregon on December 19, 1925, to Francis and Rozella Soreghan, and raised in Ames, Iowa along with his two sisters, Mary Elizabeth (Sister Cecilia) and Phyllis (Stocks). During WWII, he served in the US Army Air Corp flying onboard the B-24 Liberator as part of the 328th Bomb Squadron 93rd Bomb Group. He graduated from Loyola University in 1950 and worked at Hughes Aircraft as an accountant for over 37 years. He was married to Eileen, for 57 years and they raised their four children in the Larchmont Village area. He was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church for over 50 years volunteering countless hours at both the church and school. Frank lived a long life and exemplified the Christian spirit by example with his constant service and devotion. His love for his family was immeasurable and we will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be held on February 24, 2020, at 11:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Hollywood.
