William Francis Bonacum of San Dimas, CA passed away peacefully on December 6, 2019. He was born October 15, 1946 in New York where he grew up and lived until 1979. Bill was married January 2, 1970 to Phyllis Berrios in New York. During their life there, both he and his wife became involved with their local fire department and are honorary members of the Vulcan Fire Department. Bill also worked as a clerk for the United States Postal Service. In 1979, Bill and Phyllis moved to California with their two children. He continued to work for the postal service as a clerk and retired after 35 years of service.
After retiring he began a new career as a security guard for various companies. The last of which was with the Morongo Casino when he retired in 2013 to take care of his wife full-time. He enjoyed golf, music, watching the New York Giants and the New York Knicks and playing Santa at Christmas. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Bill was preceded in life by his wife Phyllis and leaves behind a daughter, Stacy-Ann, and her husband Douglas, a son, Gene, and his wife Olivia, four grandchildren, a brother Michael and his wife Madeline, a sister, Sally and her husband Roderick, and a sister, Joan. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, many friends and his mother-in-law Felicia Berrios.
