Margaret Alice Bowlin Jones

Margaret Alice Bowlin Jones passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales at the age of 83 years old. She was born in Auburn, MS and resided in Gonzales. Margaret was a homemaker who loved the Lord. The most important things in life were her faith and her family. She is survived by her children, Debra Lynn Russell (Rick), Darrel Wayne Jones, Marion Keith Jones, Vicky Dee Burtt (Billy) and Janeen Dale Patel (Raju); brother, Arthur Elton Bowlin; sister, Doylene Joyce Bergeron; 9 grandchildren, Jenni Lombard and Parker, Alli Chaisson and Joey, Haley Nemeth and Jacob, Olivia Jones, Delaney Jones, David Burtt, Daniel Burtt, Tessa Patel, Jaya Patel; 4 great grandchildren, Hudson Lombard, Harper Lombard, Isabella Nemeth, Cooper Chaisson, Mackenzie Chaisson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jones, Jr. and parents Marion A. and Lennie Ratcliff Bowlin. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, May 21, 2018 from 9AM until service at 11AM at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales. Interment will follow at Hope Haven, Hwy 30 in Gonzales.
