Obituary of Delcie Catherine Evetts

Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens

Delcie C. Evetts age 96, passed away July 28, 2018. She was a lifelong member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Evetts; parents, W.C. and Lola Gammon; brothers, Othel and Willie Jr. Gammon.

Survived by son, David L. Evetts (Ruth Ann), daughter, Betty J. Cupples; brother, JB Gammon (Eva); 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Massey officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday 4pm until 8pm and Wednesday 12pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
