He is preceded in death by his father Charles Oscar Williams and his mother Mary Causey Williams, his sisters Darlene Williams and Alma Jean Redman, and brother Doyle Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Williams and daughters, Penny (Mark) Evetts, and Cande (Barry) Kidd and 6 grandchildren; Joshua Payne (Marcia), Autumn San Miguel (David), Jacob Kidd, Jonathan Kidd (Danielle), Jeremy Kidd (Katie), Michael Stewart (Christina), Tiffany Elkins (Royce), and great-grandchildren Anna Payne, Zoe Payne, Garrett Kidd, Braxton Kidd, Bolin Kidd, Maisy Kidd, Calder Kidd, Charlotte Joyce San Miguel, Ella Elkins, Summer Elkins and one on the way.Jimmy is also survived by his brother Tite Williams, brother Scottie Williams (Ruthann), sister Joan (Carl) DesChamp along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2018 at Lighthouse Church Mt. Juliet with Pastor Barry Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are, Jacob Kidd, Jonathan Kidd, Jeremy Kidd, Joshua Payne, Michael Stewart, David San Miguel. Honorary pallbearers are Mike McCauley, Bob Foy, Sonny Simmons, and Eric Wright.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Williams at a visitation Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Monday September 3, 2018 with the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Church, 6141 Saundersville Rd., Mount Juliet, TN 37122.
Jimmy was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He was a loving husband and dedicated father and grandfather. Jimmy’s life and legacy will continue to impact all that knew him for generations to come.
