My dearest love, April, I pray that you are safe with the angels in Heaven. Our 27 years as friends were exciting, fun, wonderful and so memorable. I shall always remember your glowing personality and smile. I miss you big time, and I pray that when I pass we will be together for eternity. All my blessings, your loving GJ.

April became known to me through the eyes of her mother. I was Sylvia's Florida Hairstylist for over 25 years...and there was not an appointment that went by without hearing about her loving daughter....and if you know Sylvia, ...that was a lot of appointments!! Honestly, i didn't think it would be possible for anyone to light up the world with just her smile, or have such a lilt to her voice, make a friend on every flight....surely her mother was exaggerating!

Through time, I too got to know sweet April...she was magical, yet human....joyous, yet vulnerable...a caretaker, yet an eternal Daddy's girl. ... a dedicated mother, sister, and daughter....and to many, a friend.

I remember her picking up Sylvia and moments later handing her mother a cookie. It's the simple things in life that define us.

Thank you for the memories...till we meet again on God's celestial shores.

We were neighbors of April and Elizabeth for many years !
Troy and I have fond memories of Elizabeth growing up with our girls ! Playing in the Barbie car , dress up and so on ! April was always a lovely person ! She loved to watch Elizabeth play ! She always had a kind word for everyone , and always smiling ! Loved having them for neighbors ! She will be missed !

My heart hurts at the loss of my dear childhood friend.
When we moved to Arlington, she was one of my first FRBC friends, that carried over to outside the church, sleepovers, barbies, sneaking Beautiful Sylvia's makeup and playing dress up, and scared we would get caught, then getting caught and Sylvia showing us the correct way to dress up!
Denver, taking us to Burger King and geting to go in the back and make up any type of strange burger our hearts desired.
April was the sweetest and most loving lady (yes she was a lady even as a little girl) that I have ever known.
I will always carry a special place in my heart for April.
April, if you made that big of an impact on my life I can only imagine the impact you left on others.
My heart and prayers are with her family.
As you already know, April was one of a kind.
