Mr. Bradley "Brad" Jacob Portman

Bradley Jacob “Brad” Portman 57, of Orlando, FL, passed away Thursday May 7, 2020. Brad was born February 1, 1963 in St. Charles, Missouri.

Brad graduated from St. Charles West High School where he was an All State athlete in wrestling, football, and track. Brad attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro as a Graphic Arts student before moving to Orlando, Florida pursuing a career in air freight, where he became a successful entrepreneur and small business owner for over 30 years. Brad was an avid BBQ cook and Harley Davidson enthusiast, and enjoyed any activity that involved engaging with others; Brad was well known and will be remembered for his faith, service to others, and outgoing personality.

Brad is survived by his wife Lisa and two children – Kevin and Diana of Orlando, Florida; Father William Portman of Oviedo, Florida; Brother Bryan and partner Tommy O'Connell of Chicago, Illinois; Brother Barry and sister-in-law Cindy of Midland, Texas, and four nieces and nephews; Morgan, Stephanie, Cole, and Lance. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Betty Turpin-Portman of Oviedo, Florida, and Grandparents Jacob & Bertha Portman of Belleville, Illinois; and Clarence “Boss” & Alice Dee Turpin of Earle, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, Brad wishes that donations be made in his memory to the Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (www.goodwillcfl.org). Services: Brad chose to be cremated and his ashes will be interred with his mother Betty in a graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Park (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL) on Wednesday June 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
