Eckert, Doris J, 86, died 7/20/11 in Monticello, FL, where she had lived in Brynwood Center for 5 years. Doris was born Doris Elaine James on Dec. 9, 1924 in Baltimore, MD. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles. Doris and Charles moved from Baltimore, Md to Orlando in 1959 and lived there until their move to Tallahassee, FL in 2001. They also enjoyed very much their summer home in Highlands, NC, from 1980-2000. Survivors include their daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Ron Lehmann, Tallahassee, FL; two grandsons, Ryan (Indi) Ocala, FL; and Adam (Kristy) Tallahassee. Their great-grandchildren include Brandon, Matthew, Shane, and Aria. Services will be July 30, at 3:00 p.m. with viewing at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alzheimers Assn/Research.
