Inez was a remarkable woman, and with limited educational opportunities in her childhood, still developed a strong work ethic in her careers at Whitman’s Chocolates and Campbell Soup in New Jersey. She went to Beautician School and opened her own successful beauty salon. After the move to Florida, she continued to work at Goodings and Publix bakeries. The common thread in her work was food. She loved to cook and bake wonderful meals and traditional Italian deserts. In later years, she volunteered with AdventHealth (Florida Hospital) by crocheting caps for newborn infants in the Orlando area. Inez was most proud of her family and loved us all so very deeply. Her faith in the Lord, devotion to Mary, and her Catholic faith were a priority in her life, and she was welcomed to Heaven by a large group of family, friends, and saints.
Donations in Inez’s Memory may be made to St. Jude in Memphis, TN or the Friends Across The Ages foundation in Gainesville, FL. (https://www.friendsacrosstheages.org/)
