She was born on June 14th, 1932 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Eugene and Catherine Murphy.
Joan was a dedicated homemaker seamlessly raising three sons. She had many outside artistic passions including oil painting, flower arranging, and contributing her time and skills to the Windermere Garden Club. Close friends at the club, Paula, Bonnie, Theresa and Margaret, speak fondly of her infectious laugh and her passion to inspire others.
We already miss her dearly.
Joan was preceded in death by her loving parents, her sister Pat, and brother Red.
She is survived by her husband Don; sons, Phil, Larry, and Tom; and grandchildren, Jon, Jessica, Brad, and Evan.
