Marjorie Baugh (affectionately known as Madge) was born on April 5, 1957 in Jamaica, a precious child to Noel and Mavis Baugh. She attended Wolmers High School in Jamaica, and Erasmus High in Brooklyn, New York. She was an active member of Christian Fellowship Seventh Day Adventist Church in New York.
In 2005, she left New York and settled in Orlando so she would be near to her mother. She attended many different churches in Orlando. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Veterans’ hospitals in New York and Orlando, and in many retail stores.
What we can do is to live our lives as best we can with purpose, love and joy. Each day we can show those who are closest to us how much we care about them and treat others with the respect we wish for ourselves. We weep because we love Marjorie, but let us not weep as if there is no hope. Marjorie is just sleeping. If we are faithful, we will see her again. Marjorie was sick for about 3-4 years and became more critical over the last 2 years. She passed away peacefully on May 22, 2018.
Marjorie was very quiet, kind and loving. She would take the elderly to their doctors’ appointments and also to the supermarkets. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by: her mother Mavis, sister Cynthia, brothers Ray and Kenneth, niece Raylene and hundreds of relatives.
May her soul rest in peace.
