Ursula Marie Wilson, 93, of Orlando, Florida passed away on August 12, 2019. She was born on February 20, 1926 in Basenthin, Germany to Andreas and Margarete Maidowsky.

Ursula was multitalented and loved to entertain. She enjoyed sharing her hospitality with her family. She was also an avid reader, particularly on the subjects of vitamins and health.

Ursula was preceded in death by her husband, Don L. Wilson; her sister, Lydia Kamphuis and her nephew, Jan Kamphuis.

She is survived by her sister, Ilse Lohner (Germany); her nieces and nephews: Heide Lohner (Germany), Dieter Lohner (Germany), Silvia Meyer (Germany), Monique Kamphuis (Holland), Nienke Kamphuis (Holland), Tom Kamphuis (Holland), Sandy Grossnick (Germany), Don (Becky) Wilson (Bridgeport, Ohio), Gary (Diane) Wilson ( Clermont, Florida), David (Cindy) Wilson (Cambridge, Ohio) and many other beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her cousin, Sandy Grossnick (Germany).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 11:00 am with a service to follow at 12:00 pm.

I’ll always remember how much love and fun Aunt Ursula showed us kids when we were little. From always having the refrigerator stocked with candy, to her bundt cakes, to making home videos in her pool. She will be missed greatly.

I remember aunt Ursula baking cookies and cakes for everyone s birthday s and hoildays were a lot of fun at her house we would swim in the pool and had fun playing in the yard having cook outs every summer i learned how to swim in aunt Ursula wilson s pool
