I am very honored to have known Jan, through her sister Karla. Karla is my sister in law (Karla's husband Mike is my brother). Even though I was not related to Jan by blood or marriage, she (and the rest of the French Family) always made me feel like I was part of the family! Jan always had kind words, a warm hug, and a happy smile when ever I saw her. We shared the love of crafting (knitting, scrapbooking, & more) and I loved seeing or hearing about the things she made. She was a wonderful cook and her cakes were amazing!!
Jan, you will always hold a special place in my heart & you made this world a better place by being a part of it!! I will miss you greatly!!
