Marguerite Berry – Age 91, died Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Fostrian Manor. Mrs. Berry was born October 19, 1922 in Flint the daughter of John and Alice Taylor. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the St. Cecilia Society. Surviving are her children, Carol Miller, Craig and his wife Cindy Berry; grandson, Eric and his wife Rachel Miller; nephew, David and his wife Paula Hutchins. Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Berry. The family would like to send a special thank you to Martha, the Heartland Hospice team and Doctors, Mukkamala, Kranz, Iung and Sturm. Marguerite was a joy to visit with. We loved having her attend North. We enjoyed meals with her and visiting her in her home. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Carol, Craig & Cindy. We looked for her service arrangements and could not find them. Sorry we missed it.

Marguerite Berry was one of he first people to welcome us to Woodhaven when we moved here in 2005. She called on us and brought a lovely home-made greeting card, along with some cookies. Her friendship continued over the years.
Later she purchased a metal outdoor bench in memory of her husband Ted. This was installed near the path where people walk near the pond. In 2011 when Don was sitting on the bench with a guest one day, she came to tell us of her pleasure to se the bench in use.
We will miss her, until some day we meet again.
