I met Bobbie in 1975. Both of our sons had hemophilia. She was a rock, a refuge for me and my sons. I remained friends with her. I am so greatful to have had a talk with her just before Christmas. I read this recently: When we lose someone
We love, we must learn
not to live without them,
But to live with the love
They left behind. unknown
Bobbie you leave behind much love. I will miss you dear friend.

Bobbi was such a joy to know and spend time with. My Dad & I went out to visit many years ago when Bobbi's mother Hazel (and her Dad Bob) were living at Bobbi & Byron's. I was doing family geneology at the time and went there to pick Hazel's brain (at the age of 94.) Bobbi insisted that we stay at their house and she was the 'hostest with the mostest'! So gracious - and Byron as well. We only stayed a few days but went back again and stayed for Hazel's 100th birthday party. It didn't seem to matter how much Bobbi had going on - she managed it all with grace, patience, and efficiency. I told her then and many times after our visits - 'oh how I wish we lived closer!' Bobbi - you beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. Our loss here on earth is truly Heaven's gain. Kristi - my heart & prayers go out to you!

Bobbi was a great friend and role model. She was strong, resilient, supportive, and smart. Solid faith propelled all her charitable works. I have so many lovely memories of Bobbi. We shared so many laughs! In recent months, we had Sunday 1pm conference calls with Sharon and Lois. In thinking back on the calls, I now see how Bobbi's supportive nature would guide the calls. She would move the conversation to whomever needed consoling. One always felt better after talking with Bobbi.

Kristi, our prayers are with you and your family. Know we share in your heartache. You have her goodness. God bless and keep you.

Big hugs,
Lisé Dickson

Bobbi and I became friends through church and Bible study. She was a very caring, Christian woman. With all of her medical issues, I never once heard her complain. I remember one of our last phone conversations when she was on oxygen and had to stop a minute to get a breath. She told me that she was sure she would need to be on oxygen the rest of her life and then she said-“ but I can handle that!” I will miss her presence among us so very much. My life was enriched to by her spirit and her friendship! Blessings to you, Kristi, and to all of your family. Sincerely, Susan

Bobby was a very good friend of my sister, Marjorie Burke. She was a loyal friend and even after Marjorie‘s passing Bobby was very helpful, guiding my niece through a very tough time. I know Heather will forever remember Bobby. My condolences to the family. What a lovely extended family Bobby has. She was kind to everybody and I imagine you all will miss her greatlyl.
