Cecelia Kathleen Massey, 90, of Grand Junction died at home on Saturday, January 12, 2019. She was born May 7, 1928, in Littlefield, Texas, to Ernest and Ruth Wood, the oldest of eight children. The family lived in Texas and New Mexico. Cecelia married EY Massey on May 28, 1948, in Bosque Farms, New Mexico. They moved to De Ha, CA, in 1948. EY and Cecelia moved to Grand Junction in 1954.
Cecelia was a member of T.O.P.S. and Western Colorado Decorative Artists. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in both organizations: socializing at their meetings, and going to lunch afterwards. Cecelia was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for family get-togethers.
Cecelia is survived by her husband, EY Massey; two sons, Jack Massey and Steven Massey; grandkids, Luke Massey and Katy Massey; daughter-in-law, Debbie Massey; great-grandson, Gage Crow; and sister, Alice Townsley.
She was preceded in death by son, Austin Eugene Massey; brothers, Bill Wood, Tommy Wood, and Ty Wood; and sisters, Bea Brannan, Linda Gladwell, and Betty Dixon.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, with interment to follow at Memorial Gardens.
