Cherie Jean Zuspan
May 1, 1939 – July 17, 2020
Cherie Jean Zuspan passed away peacefully on July 17, 2020 at her home in Salt Lake City.
Cherie was born in Vici, Oklahoma to Elmer J. Adams and Elsie Faye Adams on May 1, 1939.
She married Robert Zuspan four days after their first date.“Till death do us part”, was said during their ceremony taken very seriously, after 41 years and 4 months of marriage, Robert passed away. They had 3 children of their own but she was called “Mom” by countless others.
She never met a stranger, just a friend, son, daughter, or grandchild she simply hadn’t spoken to yet. Cherie enjoyed her role as a Senior Companion because she was an extremely selfless person and wanted to help others have a better day. Cherie was always eager to go road tripping on a moment's notice. She loved having a new adventure at any time. She loved animals and had several dogs over the span of her life. She was kind and loving but didn’t let you get away with things that you should take responsibility for. She was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her 3 children: Bill (Leslie) Zuspan, Robert (Jenn) Zuspan and Darla (Mike) Schwarz, 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren on the way. Cherie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Zuspan Sr.; parents Elmer and Elsie Adams; brother John; sister, Carol.
