Thelma Brock Richardson

Thelma was born on August 28, 1929 in Hazard, Kentucky from the union of Oliver and Breta Brock. She graduated from Grand Junction High School and was a resident of Grand Junction of seventy five years.

Thelma married Don Richardson shortly after meeting in the Unaweep Canyon. She worked as a bookkeeper for Richardson Drilling and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was an originating member of Mesa County Chapter of Compassionate Friends.

Thelma leaves behind a daughter; Breta Snedden of Grand Junction and Durango and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Thelma liked to keep things simple so come celebrate her life in casual clothing. Her Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Martin Mortuary with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
