Bobby Gene Isbell
January 16, 1931 – April 24, 2020
Bobby Gene Isbell, aka Bad Bob, was born January 16, 1931 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Willie Isbell and Grace Conner Isbell. God called him to heaven on April 24, 2020.
Bob married his beloved Rose on September 28, 1968. Bob worked for sales and delivery of commercial bread and bakeries for many years and retired early.
He loved to fish, make candy and best of all he loved driving his red pick up truck. His favorite thing ever was singing and playing his guitars.
Till the end of his days he played and sang to dear friends at Dogwood Estates Retirement Center. They called him “Bob the Guitar Man” And “The Candy Man”.
Bob is preceded in death by wife, Rose Isbell; brother, Billy Isbell and his wife Margaret; sister, Ruby Isbell; son-in-law, DT Northcutt; son-in-law, Ed Penney; daughter, Janice Northcutt; granddaughter, Diane Wehmeyer; great granddaughter, Jamie Wehmeyer; his parents and numerous loved family members.
He is survived by daughters, Linda Torres and husband Johnny Joe, and Peggy Penney; sister, Joyce Ann Morris and husband Neil; granddaughter, Chloe Woodford and husband Mike; great granddaughter, Kennedy Woodford; grandsons, Johnny Torres, Mickey Peterson, and RayRay Torres; granddaughters, Starla Karlis and husband Mark and Rita Oates; grandson, Eric Northcutt; and great granddaughters, Alyssa Oates and Tara Warren.
