Debora and I served as Deputy Grand Matrons under Worthy Grand Matron Vi Griffin, and had such wonderful times. As time progressed we became good friends. I believe the happiest memory of Debora was the surprise on her face, when she was commissioned as Grand Representative. She traveled the Eastern Star circuit with her sweet husband Jerry. This couple was amazing, as there was nothing that they would not attempt to do for our order, or for you if you asked. What an empty place in my heart this young lady has left. I know she is celebrating in heaven and pray that God will wrap His loving arms around Jerry and let him know that the Eastern Star is here for him. God speed Debora and know that we love you.

One of the best memories was when Debora received her Grand Representative appointment from Cheryl Albrecht at Grand Chapter. Cheryl called Debora's name and Debora thought she was in "trouble". She couldn't think of why, but I told her to go to the West NOW. She was so surprised when she received this commission. Seven of us made the trip to Maine for their Grand Chapter and had the time of our lives. Can't remember a time when we weren't laughing! OMG! Will never be able to duplicate the fun time we all had. I know God has blessed Debora and hope is will bless Jerry. They had a love that was beyond measure. They came into each other's life at the right time. I will miss talking to you, my friend, as well as texting each other. Thank you for being a wonderful friend to John and me.
LOVE,
Kathy Creel
