Lucille Virginia (Frappier) Leonard age 94 passed away quietly in her sleep on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Born in Escanaba, Michigan into a family of 11, she learned family values and learned to take care of the home, becoming a self described “home body.” She was married for 54 years to Irvin Delbert Leonard who passed away in 1992. She raised two sons, Robert (Renee) and David and was grandmother to Star Leonard. To at least three generations of nieces and nephews, she was Aunt Lu or Auntie Lulu. Lucille lived a simple, but full life enjoying school activities, camping, breakfast every Tuesday, and most of all her home. Visitation will be held from 3:30-5:30pm on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Additional Visitation will be held at Gardens of Rest Memorial Park, in Escanaba, Michigan from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday, March 4, 2013 followed by burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice would be appreciated.
