Anna Mae Wind, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Ralph Henry Wind; parents Albert and Julia Oosterheert; parents-in-law Henry and Doris Wind; and siblings Evelyn (Larry) Bouwkamp and Douglas Wind. She will be deeply missed by her children Deborah (Gary) Vander Wal, Dawn (Gary) Danielson, Kimberly (DuWayne) Snow; grandchildren Jonathan (Brittany) Vander Wal, Beth (Michael) Lothschutz, Joshua (Devonna) Danielson, Chelsey (Luke) Dornbos, Angela (Joshua) Sochanek, Abby (Branden) Zomerlei, Alexis Grit; great-grandchildren Logan, Nora, Jack, Sawyer, Eli, Evelyn, Ezra, Riley; sister-in-law, Marlene Wind; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Anna graduated from Wyoming High School in the class of 1954. She enjoyed being part of the class reunion committee for many years. Anna enjoyed traveling the state and country with Ralph in their motorhome with the Cruisin’ Michiganders motorhome club. She enjoyed rides and road trips in the car, going out to eat, and enjoying sweets such as chocolate - the sweeter the better! One of her favorite pastimes was driving out with Ralph to enjoy the sunsets over Lake Michigan and enjoying ice cream on the way home.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family has chosen not to have public services. Anna will be laid to rest next to Ralph at Georgetown Cemetery at a private family graveside service. To pay your respects to Anna, take a Sunday afternoon drive any day of the week. Take in the sunset, stop for ice cream, grab a handful of M&M’s and say, “Anna, this one’s for you." In memory of Anna and lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.
