Klaver, Barbara Anne (Velding), age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 17, 2020, reuniting with her beloved husband of 69 years, Rudy. She is survived by her children Cherie and Marv Curtis, and Lynda and Ed Zomberg; grandchildren Dawn (Justin) White, Jeff (Sharry) Curtis, Jennie Curtis, Brandon (Heidi) Lietz, Keri (Nick) Eubank; great-grandchildren Jorden (Sarah) Curtis, Ashley (Mark) Sloan, Matt Burbridge, Alysa Curtis, Bryce Curtis, Renee White, Jason Smith Jr., Sabrina White, Oliver Lietz, Zach White, Liam Lietz, Aaron White, Connor Eubank, Abi Curtis, and Evan Eubank; great-great-grandchildren Elias and Eve Curtis; and brother-in-law, Jerry (Ann) Klaver. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Edna Velding.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Wyoming, Michigan, attending Lee High School, and was proudly a founding and active member of West 44th St. CRC. She was a longtime employee of Montgomery Ward. She enjoyed many happy times with Rudy and family, friends, and church family at their cottage on Selkirk Lake.

The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 with a processional to Grandville Cemetery to take place immediately after for a short graveside service.
