Dan was first my tenant, then became a friend, then became a trusted professional. Always caring and real in a very sarcastic fashion. Dan was devoted to advising First Responders and Law Enforcement, he always employed his expertise in helping others where they were lost and he was their guide. May he be enlisted in the Lord's army of angels to continue helping all who were dear to him. May his memory serve to bestow blessings on all who loved him. R I P .

To my dearest friend Dan,
First I want to say to his family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
Dan you weren't just my accountant, you were more than that, you were one of the people in my in my life that was our keep watch and protecter of my little family especially after our greatest loss. Without abandon, you always went over things with a fine tooth comb. When red flags went up, you were on the phone with me reassuring or reporting something hokey was going on (never mentioning names to throw people under the bus, but I heard you and I was on it). I will never forget what you taught me in your words "NEVER EVER CALL THE IRS, I WILL DO THAT" it took 3 years to resolve that situation and it worked out exactly the way it was supposed to. Dan you were one of the people far a few in between in my life that I relied on, never leaving us in the lurch. Your compassion, kindness, demeanor and sense of humor that you have shown us for all these years holds an insurmountable appreciation. I am so grateful to have crossed paths with you. Thank you for complimenting the middle one for all her successes, always feeling welcomed and making her laugh. This year the little one was up next to meet you - Yesterday when I heard of your passing, the grief and my crumpled reaction as the tears flowed, she now is fully aware of what you really meant to us as I explained the impact you have made in our lives. Dan thank you for being that constant, "don't worry, everything will be alright" keeping it light - person in my life. You were not only an accountant, you were my friend, my hero. You are going to be missed by so many. Be well my friend and rest easy now.
Again to your family I am truly sorry for your loss. - Lisa

Dan was not only my accountant , but a good friend. Every time I screwed up he would call me a foul name. Then he would help me fix the screwup .
One day while waiting in his office I started to play with some of the toys.. Unbeknownst to me he was came in and just shook his head. He said " you are nothing more than a child, and boy do I pity your parents "
Classic Dan, one of a kind. A great kind
