Atreus Azariah Huerta, passed away on March 27, 2021 in Denver, Colo. Atreus was born on February 17, 2021 in Denver the son of Kristiann and Emilio Huerta. Atreus was welcomed into this world with so much faith, love, hope and dreams for his future. His big sister anxiously awaited to bring him home making plans to go on adventures with him and eat cheddar popcorn together. His mommy spent her time preparing for him, wondering who he would grow up to be. Daddy had visions of father son trips, building a lowrider and long days fishing at the lake. Though his time here on Earth was so short lived, he left a big imprint in the hearts closest to him. He will be remembered by his beautiful smile, great big eyes and fighting spirt. Broken hearted he leaves behind his parents, sister, Amayah; paternal grandfather: James Huerta; paternal grandmother Corina Madrid; maternal grandparents: Kim and Joel Vargas; great grandmothers, countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was welcomed into heaven by many family members, including his great great grandparents Lorenza and Alfonso Huerta and Juana and Antonio Rodriguez, also his great grandfathers Jose Huerta and Salvador Vargas.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday April 7, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home in Greeley, Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 4-7 pm with recitation of the Rosary at 6 pm. Please visit to share your memories and condolences with Atreus’ family.
