Doug hired and raised me into the real working world. He was my first real boss and such a great guy. All these years have passed but I'm forever grateful for him teaching me humility, and most importantly to always be my best.

Those pictures brought back many memories. So sorry to hear that Doug is gone. Hope he and Tony are talking deer and dogs and catching up on the years gone by. My sympathies to all of you: Dick, Rosie, Debbie, Carrie, Tim, and Curt, and your families, as well as Doug's wife, who I never got to meet.

Uncle Doug, my god father. I hope you know how much you ment to me in life you taught me a lot about life, the good, bad, guns :) You have always been a hero to me, someone who I always knew would be there for me threw the good and bad in life. Even though you were my uncle you were more like a father to me! Someone very close to my heart who I know will always be with me in my heart... Since I found out about your death it has been very hard for me but i've realized your no longer sick, no longer in pain and now your fishing, hunting and playing ball with Jake. I love you very much uncle Doug!! And I will truly miss you!!

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours.
Now and for ever. Amen

"Goodbye Friend"
To Doug we must say goodbye
He wouldn't want to hear us cry...
A sweeter man we've never met
In our hearts we'll never forget!
The Angels came to take him home,
Now we are left on earth to roam,
His time was long, yet seemed to short
To memories now we must resort.
For everyone he had a smile
And he loved to sit and talk awhile.
Now in our hearts Doug still lives on
Until our time on earth is gone...
Then once again we'll join our friend
Together in time that will never end!
