Mildred Evelyn Evelyn Feit

Mildred grew up in Greeley, graduating from Greeley High School. After graduation, she started working at Sunset Memorial Gardens, where she worked for 45 years, retiring as the manager. She attended several cemetery conventions during her time there. She enjoyed her tenure at Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

On December 4, 1949 she married Donald E. Feit in Greeley. He died on December 1, 1994.

Mildred was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bridge and reading. She also enjoyed traveling and taking cruises throughout her life. She loved taking care of her family.

Mildred is survived by her brother-in-law, Bill Solomon of Carr; niece, Kathy Black of Carr; nephew, Will Solomon (Dee) of Gypsum, Colorado; grandnieces, Kristina Black and Bailey Forester and great-grandniece, Trinity Dotson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Myrna Solomon.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, September 4, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
