Rhonda was born on August 9, 1938 in Sioux City, lowa to Carl & Rachel Hafkey. She graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1956. She excelled in music, playing the violin in both the orchestra & band.
Shortly after graduating from high school, Rhonda married Max Hill & enjoyed living the farm-life raising her children. Later, after divorcing Max, she worked many years at Don's Grocery Store in Eaton, retired from The Eaton Bank, & worked part-time at the Greeley Walmart store.
Rhonda & Max raised three children: Son, Michael Duane (Sherlyn) Hill of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, & daughters; Linda Sue Hill of Windsor, Colorado & Patricia (John) Tapp of Poinciana, Florida.
Rhonda was blessed with five grandchildren; Lisa, Aaron, Tawnya, Natasha, & Sarah & six great-grandchildren; Hailee, Hanna, Skyler, Tallen, Easton, & Jack.
Rhonda has a surviving sister, Carol Conklin, of Lakewood, Colorado and a nephew, Steven Conklin of Edgewater, Colorado.
She was passionate about her beloved pets, love of painting & music, the outdoors & "dug" Elvis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband Max Hill; a daughter at birth; son, Michael Hill; brother, Bill Hafkey; brother-in-law, Bob Conklin; & grandson-in-law, Rob Falls.
A Celebration of Rhonda's life will be held on: Friday, April 5th, 2024 at 11:00 am
