Richard Norman "Nomana" Gourley, Jr. of Greeley, passed away at his home. He was born May 5, 1979 in Kona, Hawaii to Richard Norman Gourley and Sydney Leilani (Beers) Gourley.
Nomana was raised in Kona and was a 1997 graduate of Konawaena High School. After graduation he moved to Greeley to attend the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in Performing Arts. Nomana had a passion for all phases of the theatre and also loved spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his parents, Sydney and Richard Gourley, two brothers, James Gourley and his wife Kanoe and Jefferson Gourley, a niece, Sunnie Rae Gourley all of Kailua-Kona. He is also survived by an aunt, Linda Gourley of Stokesdale, North Carolina, godfather Yoshimi Nakasone of Kohala, Hawaii, his goddaughter, Elizabeth Solis of Greeley and a large group of very good friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Hawaii at a later date.
