Born February 28, 1950 in Greencastle, he was the son of Theron Robert and Neva Belle (DeFries) York and was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1969”.
Craig worked as an injection mold technician at Heartland Industries for several years and had previously worked at Union Carbide.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge, Greencastle.
Craig is survived by his brother, Timothy Ray (Cynthia) York; companion, Kathryn Potter; nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Brick Chapel Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Moose Lodge on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 3:00 pm.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 9th at the funeral home.
