Lonnie "Pud" Compton

Survivors include three daughters: Rhonda Branham, Manda Compton, and Andrea Compton; one son: Joshua Compton; several grandchildren; three sisters: Jewel Helton, Marie Smith, and Teresa Ward, one brother: Rick Compton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Estelle Compton; brothers: Don, Ray, Jr., Sammy Compton; and sisters: Cleo Ward and Sue Bishop

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Allen Payne officiating.

Interment will be at 2:00 pm Sunday in Piney Grove Cemetery in Baileyton. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Sunday at 1:45 p.m. for the graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Mike and Dan Compton, Sam Carter, Dennis Beamer, and Rick Compton.
