Helene Marie McGonigle Belfi

Helene Marie Belfi of Greensboro, NC left this world on September 12, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on September 21 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at the parish center.

Helene M. Belfi, age 81, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Belfi who passed in 2014. She is survived by a brother Ron McGonigle, of PA; four sons: Matthew and his partner Clint Carruth of Atlanta, GA; Keith and his wife Scottie of Atlanta, GA; Andrew of Charlotte, NC; Brian and his wife Melanie, of Jamestown, NC; one daughter, Maureen and her husband Kevin Bernard, of Ringgold, VA. She is also survived by seven granddaughters; Katlyn and her husband Timothy Hall of Ringgold, VA; Hill and Ryan of Atlanta, GA; Jules Frances and Amelia Grace of Waxhaw, NC; and Giulia of Jamestown, NC; four grandsons, John Christian of Waxhaw, NC; Tristan, Gabriel, and Jack of Jamestown, NC; one great grandson; Kamden Scott Hall of Ringgold, VA; and a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews located in the Philadelphia area. She had many friends and she loved each and every one of them dearly.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made can be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church or a charity of your choice. Hanes-Lineberry North Elm chapel is assisting the Belfi Family.
