James William Fogleman, 85, a resident of Pleasant Garden died Saturday November 23, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Fogleman was born September 4, 1928 in Randleman, the son of Dewitt Talmage and Moleta Dennis Fogleman. He retired after 38 years with Container Corporation of America in Greensboro and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Fogleman was an avid golfer.
Mr. Fogleman was married to Ruby “Peggy” Anderson Fogleman who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two sons; Larry Dean Fogleman, Steven Lee Fogleman; three brothers, Jack Fogleman, Erman “O’Boy” Fogleman, David “Bud” Monroe Fogleman and four sisters, Sarah Katherine “Sis” Carter, Pat Lamb, Myra Jean Atkins and Dorothy Jenkins.
Surviving are his son, Michael Lynn Fogleman and wife Libia; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren; three sisters, Dee Ann Julian, Nancy Morgan, Judy Walker; two brothers, O.C. “Dock” Fogleman and Robert Fogleman.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Dr. Don Clement, followed by burial with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
