July 13, 2018

Dear Jackie and Chris,
I remember Swanson very well from the many hours he spent with Dad in our home workshop and the Stagerwing fuselage that lived in the carport under my bedroom window while they worked to restore it. He was always so kind and considerate of us kids, and I always looked forward to talking with him. I also remember you both fondly from gatherings at your home and at the Lake, as well as supporting our guys at aviation events. You were all so kind to us when we lost Dad, so many years too early. I am so glad that Swanson had a long life, no doubt well lived!
With condolences and sympathy,
Sally Austin Richardson (Dick & Kathie Austin's daughter)
