I first met Weldon in "Miss Jean's first grade class in 1946. A friendship developed which continued. A very good student who excelled in the business classes we had. He is the only person I know who took a correspondence course from LaSalle and turned it into a career. When we talked, he talked about his family and his church. This quite, gentle man, I believe was a Man of Faith. With that assurance, Shirley and the Family can be confident he is now in a better place.

Weldon & I grew up in the same church many years ago. He was such a fine, kind, Christian man. Although I have not seen him recently, I have fond memories and send my love and sympathy to Shirley & family. Our loss is heaven's gain.
