Glenna Mae Howard, 78, of Greenville went home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center @ Wayne Hospital in Greenville.
She was born on March 3, 1940 to Herschel and Dora (Rodeheffer) Howard of Ansonia, Ohio. She was a 1958 graduate of Ansonia High School. She was last employed at The Neff Company. She had been a member of the Eagles. She attended the Triumphant Christian Center in Greenville.
She loved to bake and took joy in sharing her treats. She taught us humanity, empathy and generosity - she kept on giving after her life on earth ended. She loved her grandchildren, cats/dogs, playing cards and crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel & Dora, her brother, J. Keith Howard, grandchildren Marcus Lee Thompson & Jennifer Arliene Amick, and great grandson Matthew Ryan Scarberry.
She is survived by her children: Cynthia (Doss) Blank (Lee) of Wapakoneta, Sharon Taylor of Greenville, Lisa (Taylor) Miller (Dave) of Bradford, and Monte Nelson of Union City. IN.
Her grandchildren: Stephen Amick (Mary), Sara Dynes, Rich Thompson (Hollie), Emily Miller, Craig Nelson (Kayleigh) and Kyle Nelson (Kaelee) with 6 great children: Gavin & Elijah Amick, Morgan & Dylan Thompson, Ashton Inman, and Nylah Nelson.
Her siblings in Greenville: Barbara Parker, Leon Howard, D. Marvin Howard (Delorce), and Tony L. Howard (Vicki). There are also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a service on March 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Triumphant Christian Center, 1129 Southtowne Ct., Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Sam Shilot presiding.
