Linda Jane Allread, age 71 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 11:46 AM on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the State of the Heart Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. Born in Darke County, Ohio on June 24, 1948 she was an only child to the late John & Eleanor (Wanger) Lewis. Linda worked at Corning Glass, and retired after 26 years of service. She loved lilies, and interior design. Linda was well loved by many, and will truly be missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Allread.

Survived by children Angela Bright & wife Michelle Plessinger; Shawn Allread & Candy Butts; Mindy Sucharda & Charles Rowan: 3 step- sons and 1 step-daughter: significant other David Becker: grandchildren Aurora Bright; Damaris Fahl; Dalton Fahl; Dartavian Thomas; Amariah Wetzel; Colton Sucharda; Samarra Sucharda; Dodge Sucharda: 8 step-grandchildren: 6 great-grandchildren: and her beloved cat “ JR”.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio at 12:30 PM, with Pastor Kenneth Stewart presiding. Burial to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Cancer Association. Online sympathies www.zecharbailey.com.

To have a good friend is the purest of all God's gifts, for it is a love that has no exchange of payment. It is not inherited, as with a family member. It is not compelling, as with a child. And it has no means of physical attachments, as with a mate. It is, therefore, an indescribable bond that brings with it a far deeper devotion than all others.
I am deeply saddened with Linda's passing. I knew it would hurt, I just didn't know it would hurt this much.

Love you momma ........ Your wings have got to be the brightest and most beautiful ones up there...I will miss you so much but knowing that your at peace and with loved ones that were there waiting patiently for you makes it somehow better.....your laughter is forever in my heart and soul as is every special moment and everything good or bad that we held each other through.....your free now momma in a world that can only be imagined by the ones you left here to make sure was ready when we join you......lmao your probably cleaning every inch of heaven now with grandma behind telling you you missed a spot.....i love you momma and no worries someday I'll be there to see you again but i know you have not really left because I can feel you in heart ......thank you mom for everything and remember when i close my eyes and think of you shake those angel wings a bit harder .....I will feel them i know it .....

I worked with Linda at Corning. She always had a smile on her face & was a very kind soul. We use to have so much fun working at Corning. She will be greatly missed by all. Specially her FAMILY. Rest in peace Linda. God Bless.
