Born in Seneca, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Curtis and Julia Posey Knight. Mrs. Charping was retired from Greenwood Mills in Liberty following 46 years of service and previously attended Park Place Church of God.
Mrs. Charping is survived by a sister, Dorothy Clardy of Liberty; and a special friend, Barbara Noblett. She was predeceased by two brothers, Horace Knight and Andrew “Fuzz” Knight; and a sister, Ruth Stephens.
The family would like to thank the staff of Carriage House Assisted Living of Taylors for their love and care of Mrs. Charping.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
