JoAnn Brewer Kennedy of Riverside, California, formerly of Fort Smith died Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born October 10, 1933 in West Hartford, Arkansas to Elton and Velma McCafferty Brewer. JoAnn married Billy Ralph Kennedy on July 19, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Jim.
Survivors include two sons, Stan Kennedy of Riverside, CA and Ron Kennedy of West Jordan, Utah; two brothers, Elton Brewer of LaPuente, California and Odell Brewer of Hartford; she was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2013 at Hartford First Baptist Church with burial at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Greenwood.
