I had the privilege to play golf with Larry in Men’s League. I’m praying for his family. They don’t make GENTLEMEN like him anymore. Made me want to be a better man.

Larry was a friend from early days in Greenwood thru junior high. We did a lot of things boys do/did from 6th thru 9 grade. We just enjoyed being boys. I helped him erect a basketball goal in area behind his house. He then proceeded to beat regularly at Horse and other one-on-one basketball games. I moved away and lost touch until one of his graduating class reunions 40 or 45 years later plus the 50th reunion. Still the friend of the many years before. As a bonus I got to his wife and some of his children at Larry and Wanda's 50th wedding anniversary . My thoughts are with Wanda and family as they place this life event into its proper place as their lives go on.

We could always count on grandpa Ulmer to ask about all of our kids when we bumped into him and then he asked about us. So genuine and loving. Always had one more extra hug before we said good bye until the next time.

You will be missed greatly and know you have done a tremendous job with your children and grandchildren! We love you and you will always have a special place In our hearts and home!!

I was saddened to hear of Larry’s passing, I have a lot of fond memories of him. It seemed like he coached me every year in summer baseball even thought he didn’t, I do know when I was in a hitting slump Larry always believed in me and would in courage me. He will be missed. Praying for the family.

This made me sad. In the 90’s I had the privilege to be a sales agents for the Ulmers. Larry, was a good mentor and always a gentleman. Larry left a great legacy. He not only helped many family find the perfect forever house. Larry and Wanda worked with and taught many Agents like myself the art of Real Estate.
Many God grant Peace to the Ulmer Family.
