Nova was born January 27, 1933 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Clarice and Riley Johnson. After she graduated, she moved to Kansas City where she worked with several of her siblings at Sealright Inc. for 23 years. Following she lived in Dolph, Arkansas then moved back to Greenwood where she retired from Planters Peanuts after working there for 19 years.
Nova is survived by six children, Carol Eskridge, Sharon Attee, Clarence Lowry, Troy Lowry, Cheryl Reich and Donald Lowry; six grandchildren, Shelby, Starlette’, Brandyn, Kaitlyn, George and Elizabeth and four great grandchildren, Brayden, Avery, Grayson and Emily. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Lowry, her mother and father and four siblings, Kenneth, Eloise, Bernie and Nelda Mae.
Nova was loved and admired by all that knew her and will forever be remembered in the hearts of many.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 24 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with Pastor Alan Davis officiating.
