Paula Jean Goines

Paula Jean Goines, 68, of Arkoma, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 in a local hospital. She was born June 21, 1950 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of the late Thomas and Winnie Day. She was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, November 26 at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Fort Smith with burial at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

She is survived by her two sons, Heath Doss and Christy of Crandall, Texas and Daryl Doss and wife, Jennifer of Arkoma; one daughter, Amanda Caraway and husband, Billy of Greenwood; ten grandchildren, Zachary, Autumn, Isaac, Alexis and Lakin Doss, Elijah, Elizabeth and Emerson Caraway, Logan Marion and Autumn Adams; one great grandchild, Jeremiah Doss, along with two step-sons and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Leon Goines and two brothers, Ben and Bobby Day.

Pallbearers will be Elijah Caraway, Zachary Doss, Isaac Doss, Logan Marion, Jarvis Covey, Anthony Caraway and Travis Garrett.
