This is a heartfelt tribute to a dynamic woman that I got to call mom! When my own parents passed away, and my aunt who is my next a “mom” also passed away Betty told me that she is now my mom and was proud to take on that title for me. Recently in the past year before her death she has become ill several times, even though her children checked on her and made sure she was OK the next time she saw me she gave me heck! What are you too busy to check on your mom? I then realized that yes in fact I meant so much to her! As I sit here typing these with tears rolling down my cheeks, I know that she no longer has pain & suffering and that she was just so tired. She could no longer live this life and was done, the night she passed as she laid, comatose , I told her that my parents Ted and Angie will be there awaiting her arrival along with her daughter Annette, parents Nona and Nono and my pet Saffy whom by the way she adored and always had cookies ready to be handed out when Saffy visited. I miss you immensely already but will be seeing you soon on the other side I love you back to Battastina “Betty” Dollowitch! God bless you and keep you in his arms till I get there! Your Son Dave
