Eugene N. "Sonny" Lapansie of Dearborn Heights was born April 23, 1931 in Detroit and passed away peacefully on March 11, 2018 in St. Clair Shores at the age of 86. Eugene was the father of Terri, Martin, Mark, Patricia, Michael, Michelle and Matthew. He was the beloved husband of the late Darlene (Standafer) . Gene was the stepfather of Michael, Deborah, Susan, David, Gregory and Timothy and had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
