Mark Pelech

Mark Stephen Pelech September 9, 1956 - January 22, 2019 Mark Pelech of Ferndale, went to be with the Lord when he passed away in his home on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the age of 62. He attended Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic School in Hamtramck and graduated from Sterling Heights High School. He had a strong devotion to family and his church. Mark had a great appreciation for music and song. He enjoyed using his sharp-witted sense of humor to make all people laugh. Mark enjoyed the outdoors, loved all sports… especially golf. Mark cared deeply for everyone in his circle and was extremely generous to all, especially those who knew him as Uncle Mark. He was loved and appreciated by countless friends and neighbors as well as his peers. He was a best friend to many people. Mark was hardworking and trustworthy beyond measure. He had an independent career in the automotive industry for many years before joining the Remarketing Department at Credit Acceptance Corporation (CAC) over 20 years ago. Mark was preceded in death by his father Stephen…following his footsteps in many ways. He is survived by his mother Dorothy with whom he had a very special bond. He always made her laugh and be happy…he was the fun son. Mark is also survived by his sister Donna Saunders and brother Randy whom he loved dearly. He leaves behind a large number of tightly knit cousins and close relatives, as well as an additional extended family of Credit Acceptance and Auto Auction colleagues that spans the nation. He also leaves an enormous group of lifelong close friends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who ever met him.
