Patricia Ann Heftler

She was a long time resident of Grosse Pointe and also spent many years working as a reservations manager in St. Maarten.

She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University. She spent her career as a Medical Social Worker and her personal life caring for people and their families when facing health challenges.

She was an active member of St. Lucy’s Catholic Church. She participated in the celebration of Mass as a lector and brought the Eucharist to shut ins. She also helped host MCREST and the parish food bank. She was known among family and friends to be a superb maker of single batch fruit jams. Those in her close circle were happy to receive a jar on birthdays and Christmas.

She was predeceased by her parents, Pierre and Margaret Heftler and her brother, Peter. She is survived by a multitude of friends and extended family members.

She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched with her kindness.

A rosary will occur Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A visitation will occur Monday, August 11, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at St Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.
